So About That Day My Library Flooded πŸ˜³

Yeah…. move into a house that someone flipped quick, you better check everything!

So my pipe to drain the bathtub came unhooked. Did not know it when I took a shower. But I certainly heard it when my daughter was draining her bath…

Thank goodness the huge area rug took up the water. I would have lost my brand new furniture; more books than the 40 I threw out; and my first edition Wizard of Oz books were down here; along with many autographed books.

I lost shoes, clothes, and precious books I loved to read.

Lesson learned!

Oh no! So sorry to hear it. I’m glad you and your daughter are safe, but I feel awful about your books. :<

It was tough throwing those books out, but there was no saving them 😦

That’s terrible! You just expect these things to work, right?

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about this! I hope it’s not too difficult to fix and that you got to keep the majority of your things. Such a shame.
