With two of his books being made into movies, (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief; Percy Jackson and the Sea of monsters), Rick has gained quite a following of readers. I enjoy these books as much as my teenagers. They are fun to read, you don’t see blood, sex, or gore, and they are still exciting! Well, some blood and gore, but nothing I am concerned about my girls reading.
Quotes: If my life is going to mean anything, I have to live it myself.
People are more difficult to work with than machines. And when you break a person, he can’t be fixed.
All serious daring starts from within. (I love this one!)
